Naoko is a Norwegian duo fusing contemporary RnB and electronic avantgarde, consisting of producers and songwriters Erlend Elvesveen and Charite Viken. Us both being music professionals we created Naoko as a space where we could create outside of commercial interests. Our work deals with mystical themes, of magical realism and sci fi, driven by fascination of sound timbre and its associative effects.

Naoko is named after the character from Murakami’s book Norwegian Wood.
